"She has an ultra modern performance of the ancient art of Belly Dance and the modern Brazilian Samba Dance (Escola de Samba Style). Her dance background includes ballet, jazz, flamenco, modern, contemporary, belly dance and Brazilian Samba. Her show can be customizing to create new choreographies for your special request songs. Dance empowers the woman performing the dance as well the audience.

Here’s a little bit about me ( Patty Fairy ):

The Past - When I was 7 years old in Rio / Brazil my mom took me to my first dance class with the legendary Russian Ballet instructor Tatiana Leskowa. I have being dancing since than. In 1990 with the advent of MTV Sao Paulo I helped to introduce the hip hop movement in Rio as one of the first female MC in Rio de Janeiro / Brazil. I have being performing with amazing artists such as Gabriel Pensador, Racionais MC’s, Osvaldo Montenegro and other pop artists. 1993 I change my stage name to Patricia Prata and I tour with my band “The Positive Soul”, we won several awards in Brazil and France as underground and alternative hip hop artists. 1996 I was hired to create the hip hop choreography and I also got a part in to the assemble cast of a very famous soap opera called “ Malhacao “ . I had the chance to work with the best choreographers and dancers in Brazil such as Carlinhos De Jesus. In 1997 I moved to USA, first I lived with my cousin and her family in Lorton /Virginia. Later on I moved to Dana Point / Orange County/ CA .  In the USA market I did TV Commercials such as Eastwood Insurance " Yo quiero Eastwood", Cadillac, Vons Pavilions and I played the princess of Spain " Featured" at the series "West Wing" White House Christmas Celebration with Yo Yo Ma, Er Untold Stories, just to mention few.  Since reality TV is the bread and wine of most network TV stations I  also did some "reality TV shows" such as  Secretos ( Playing the part of Maya ), Blind Date ( Playing my self ), Free Style HGTV, etc ..... I have a license in Theater and film with Escola de Theatro Dirceu de Mattos in Rio, Fine Arts by Escola De Belas Artes, I started my BA in Theater by UCLA Ext. and I'm also a member of AFTRA.

The Present - I ‘m a full time performer and artist. I thank GOD every second of my life for the opportunity of make a living doing what I love to do and I wish everybody could make a living doing what they love. As a belly and samba dancer I have being performing at events  such as " Latino Video and Film Awards 2005", "Folies" at  Frias Beverly Hills, " Sunday Night at Kirby's" The Hub Theater NoHo, El Monte High School ( 1,500 students ), Oroville 2005 Belly dance competition http://www.homestead.com/bellydancecomp/2005intermediates.html

I have an unforgettable performance experience with base in the Christian values and ritualistic meaning, rescuing the original meaning of belly dancing and dance in general, that is : " Thanks  the creator of the universe for our blessings ". I perform songs in English, Hebrew, Turkish, Farsi, Spanish Gypsy fusion and off course I also belly dance with my “Habiba” Portuguese. I LOVE what I do and I will take you to a fun and spiritual experience. My costumes come straight from Turkey or Egypt and most of my samba dancers are originally from Rio de Janeiro /Brazil. Did I mention that I’m CARIOCA ?

The Future – Action movies and musicals.
